Ayla Malik joins PTI
ISLAMABAD - Former parliamentarian and niece of former president Sardar Farooq Ahmed Khan Leghari, Ayla Malik, on Thursday called on Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan and after a detailed meeting joined the party.
Ayla Malik is the sister of MNA Sumaira Malik and both are also granddaughters of Nawab of Kalabagh. She had joined Farooq Leghari-led Millat Party in year 1999 and later became an MNA on Millat Party’s reserve seat for women.
She served as MNA from year 2002 to 2007 and worked for the uplift of the people of Mianwali.
