Sunny Deol shoots on 100 boats
Sunny Deol, Ravi Kishan and Mukesh Tiwari were in Varanasi on Tuesday to shoot for the promotional song for Dr Chandraprakash Dwivedi's film " Mohalla Assi".
The song will feature the main actors of the film and has been penned by Gulzar. "The song has a folksy feel to it and depicts the culture of Varanasi where the film is based. Gulzar saab's lyrics bring forth the essence of the place, a knack which he had already shown in films like "Omkara"," says Dr Dwivedi.
"We are shooting on a convoy of nearly 100 boats which is a difficult proposition since a synchronization of the position of the boats is required. A group of professional British dancers have come from Mumbai since foreigners are an integral part of Varanasi and we wanted to show the essence of the city," adds the director.
